2025 Scheme of Investment Aid for the Development of the Commercial Horticulture Sector 

Assist in the development of the horticulture sector, including beekeeping, by grant aiding capital investments in specialised plant and equipment. Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday December 13th 2024.   

Who is it for?

  • The Scheme is open to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) active in the primary horticulture production sector (including beekeeping). 

What do you get?

  • Grant aid shall be paid at the maximum rate of 40% on the accepted net cost of investments approved and completed to the satisfaction of the Department.
  • Young Farmers and Registered Organic Growers shall be paid at a maximum rate of 50% on the accepted net cost of investments approved and completed to the satisfaction of the Department 
    provided the specific eligibility requirements for each group being met. 
  • These elgibiltiy requirements are set out in the Scheme Terms & Conditions.

What can it be used for?

  • Grant aid assistance towards the purchase of investments associated with  primary horticulture production  (including beekeeping)
