Design & Craft Accelerator

The Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) launched a new Accelerator Programme in partnership with Portal at Trinity College Dublin.

Who is it for?

This program is specifically designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the craft and design industry that have strong international export potential 

You may be eligible if:

  • You are a small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the craft and design industry in Ireland. 
  • Specifically, it targets those businesses with strong international export potential.

What do you get?

  • Develop a viable business model and plan .
  • Learn how to translate plans into action with a focus on international markets
  • Receive mentorship from business professionals
  • Gain funding of €5,000 in the first stage (subject to terms and conditions)
  • Potential to gain further support in the second stage

What can it be used for?

Developing a strong business plan for international export

Translating plans into action

Gaining mentorship and expertise

Securing funding: Participants have the opportunity to receive funding of €5,000 in the first stage of the program (subject to terms and conditions).

Increasing chances of further support: Performing well in the first stage can lead to additional support in the second stage of the program. This could involve further funding, access to industry networks, or even assistance in attending international design fairs.
