Energy Efficiency Grant

Introduce energy-saving measures for your small business

Businesses are encouraged to invest in sustainable products and services to reduce their carbon footprint and play their part in a greener future. With this support, you can introduce new measures to become a more energy-efficient business.

Grants & Funding

Businesses that want to invest in new energy-efficient technology to reduce environmental impact. 

You might be eligible if: 

  • You are a small to medium business
  • You employ up to 50 people 
  • You have been operating for at least 6 months
  • You have generated revenues of at least €30k
  • You have undertaken the Green for Business programme
  • You have had a recent energy audit by a SEAI auditor

Eligibility is subject to terms and conditions

Green for Business

Start your sustainability journey

This is an entry-level sustainability grant. It helps you to introduce ways to be more sustainable in your day-to-day operations. It aims to improve your operational performance through better efficiency so you can lower your costs and be more competitive.

Grants & Funding

You might be eligible if: 

  • You are a small to medium business
  • You employ up to 50 people 
  • You have been operating for at least 6 months
  • You have generated revenues of at least €30k

Eligibility is subject to terms and conditions.

Business Expansion Grant

Help your early-stage business to grow

Your business may no longer be a start-up, but you still need some support. This grant can help with a broad range of expenses, training and salary costs.

Grants & Funding

Businesses that need assistance in the growth phase, after the initial 18-month start-up period. 

You might be eligible if: 

  • You are a small to medium business
  • You have been operating for at least 18 months
  • The business is in the manufacturing or internationally traded services sectors

Eligibility is subject to terms and conditions.

Food Starter Programme

Specifics of starting a Food Production Business

The LEO SYOB Programme offers in-depth training, expert guidance, networking support, and resource access to aspiring entrepreneurs. Anyone with a business idea can join. Apply through local LEO office. Benefits: business knowledge, skills, confidence, networking, and success odds.

Digital for Business

This is a free programme that helps small businesses explore the advantages that digitalisation offers.

This provides a business with an expert digital consultant, who will assist them in analysing the existing digital systems in the business, to identify potential gaps and explore the opportunities to optimise existing systems to meet their business needs

You may be eligible if: 

  • You are a small to medium business
  • You employ up to 50 people 
  • You operate in the commercial sphere
  • You have been operating for at least 6 months
  • You are a solvent enterprise, as demonstrated by financial statements
