This grant aims to make solar energy more accessible for a wide range of small to medium sized businesses, by reducing the initial investment required to purchase and install solar panels.

Who is it for?

Businesses that want to install solar panels for self-consumption.

You might be eligible if:

You are a small to medium sized business
The agricultural sector
Public sector bodies
Schools
Community centres
Non-profit societies

Eligibility is subject to terms and conditions.

What do you get?

The grant amount you receive is based on the standard output of your solar PV system.
A solar PV system with an output of a maximum 1000kWp can be grant funded through the scheme.
If the system installed is larger than 1000kWp, then the applicant may apply for the maximum grant offering of €162,600 and this is available for systems from 1kWp to a maximum of 1000kWp.
