Animation Development Loans enable Irish producers to undertake all concept, design, and story work necessary to prepare an animated television series for production.

Who is it for?

Irish producers with an animated TV series they wish to develop, clear access to the necessary rights in any material that is to be adapted for the screen and an agreement with the screenwriter and any other creative talent they wish to commission

What do you get?

The current maximum funding available for an animated television series is €30,000

What can it be used for?

Animation development funding is provided by Screen Ireland for the making of animated projects predominantly in English or Irish, or a combination of the two
