Once approved, you’ll get:

Access to a range of grants and other supports, including:

• Workplace Adaptation Grant – up to €25,000 to make your workplace more accessible
• Workplace Needs Assessment Grant – up to €2,500 for a specialist assessment to identify workplace adjustments
• Disability, Equality and Inclusion Training Grant – up to €20,000 to support staff training
• Work Equipment Grant (employee applies) – for specialised equipment up to €12,000 in the workplace and up to €12,000 for remote working
• In-work Support – up to €12,500 to help employees do their jobs
• Communication Support and Irish Sign Language (employee applies) – funding for interpretation and communication support
• Personal Reader Grant (employee applies) – designed to support employees who are blind or visually impaired, the reader is paid at minimum wage

These supports can help you to:

• Make your workplace more accessible and inclusive
• Remove barriers that prevent employees from doing their best work
• Support employees to stay in work if their needs change
• Improve your team's understanding of disability, equality and inclusion
• Meet the needs of your team while creating a positive working environment
