• You are a employer, employee, management, students, teachers, tutors, future workers

• Please note that hsalearning.ie courses are designed for self-directed learning. 
• Self-directed courses give learners the flexibility to choose a course, and to study it in their own time and at their own pace. 
• The courses are specific to workplaces in Ireland. hsalaerning.ie is a Moodle based system. 
• Moodle is a free and open-source learning management system written in PHP and distributed under the GNU General Public License. 
• To access any of the courses on hsalearning.ie a once-off registration is required (i.e., requires username and password for course enrolment). 
• Users can register as an (1) individual or (2) a group (class or workplace group). 
• Users can progress through a course at their own pace. 
• The system saves the learner’s progress. 
• Learners can leave a course and logout and complete it at a later time/date. 
• Learners must complete the entire course successfully to receive certification. 
• Course progress and certificates can only be seen by learner. 
• However, if a learner has been invited to enrol as part of a group taking a course, the group administrator can see their name and whether and course completion details. 
• Users can complete a course more than once. 
• If a user takes the course again, it will record results based on their last completed attempt. 
• Some courses are translated into Irish and other languages.
