Enterprise Support Grant

Talk to us if you are: 

• Approved for the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance or Short-Term Enterprise Allowance 

• Starting a new business that is considered viable and sustainable 

• Able to contribute at least 20% towards the cost of the items you’re applying for 

• Able to provide quotes and other proof of the costs involved  

Here are all the terms and conditions. 

Once approved, you’ll get: 

• Support towards eligible start-up costs such as business equipment, website costs, public liability insurance and short-duration training  

• Up to €2,500 over 24 months if you’re receiving the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance 

• Up to €1,000 if you’re receiving the Short-Term Enterprise Allowance for nine months 

• Up to €625 if you’re receiving the Short-Term Enterprise Allowance for six months 

This support can help you to: 

• Cover some of the costs of setting up your business 

• Buy essential equipment and services 

• Get your business ready to start trading 

• Develop the skills and resources you need to run your new business
