New Markets Validation Grant

Conduct market research to validate the selected market with funding up to €150,000

If you’re excited about your business’ potential for growth in new geographic markets, but wondering if it is the right decision for your company, this fund will enable you to undertake market research and develop viable and sustainable market entry strategies.

Who is it for?

You may be eligible if:

You are an existing Enterprise Ireland client
Developing effective market entry strategies is essential for achieving sustainable growth and competitive advantage in new markets.
The grant supports companies to undertake rigorous validation of the selected market to test demand for the product or service prior to committing resources to its launch.

What do you get?

50% of eligible expenditure up to a maximum grant of €150,000.

What can it be used for?

Covering internal and external costs incurred when researching and validating new markets
Projects may be up to 12 months in duration
Eligible companies will be exploring a new geographic market for an existing product/service or an existing geographic market for a new product/service.
Support may be approved against eligible expenditure across a wide range of categories including salaries and overheads, overseas travel & subsistence, consultancy, business accelerators, trade fairs, reports and rental of office space (for research use).
Sales and marketing activities are not eligible for support.
