How can we help?
Traineeships combine classroom learning with practical experience in the workplace, helping people develop the skills they need for employment. As a partner employer, you can work with your local Education and Training Board (ETB) to provide valuable on-the-job experience and help shape training around the skills your industry needs.
Traineeships are available across a wide range of industries and typically include at least 30% on-the-job learning. There are five steps to developing a new traineeship involves, from identifying a skills need through to assessing the programme and the process can take between six and eight months.
