Enamelling for Small Batch Production

Learn small batch enamelling techniques on silver with expert guidance.

Renowned for her distinctive style and decades-long influence on British jewellery and craft, Jane Moore brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this hands-on workshop.

Who is it for?

  • This course is suitable for beginner (no previous experience) and intermediate (some previous experience, looking to develop further) levels. The aim is to walk away feeling excited and inspired with new knowledge, new skills and a finished piece of jewellery.

What do you get?

  • No experience required — suitable for beginners and intermediates.
  • Create your own enamelled pendant using wet-laying and Basse Taille techniques.
  • Gain hands-on skills in silver prep, enamel application, and photo-etching.
  • Be taught by acclaimed enameller Jane Moore in her first-ever Irish workshop.

What can it be used for?

  • Participants will explore the key techniques involved in small batch enamelling on silver.
  • The course will emphasise the importance of surface finishes and textures in enhancing the qualities of transparent enamels – a hallmark of Jane Moore’s celebrated work.
