Talk to us if you are: 

• A small or medium-sized business with between 5 and 249 full-time employees 

• A manufacturing or internationally-traded services business based on the island of Ireland 

• Financially viable and trading for at least two years 

• Ready to take on an innovation project 

• Able to demonstrate the need for Innovation Boost technical support  

• Have the senior management commitment and capacity to support the project 

• Companies must be registered clients of one of the state development agencies (Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Údarás Na Gaeltachta and Local Enterprise Office) and seeking to access the latest skills and expertise from research institutes throughout Ireland.

Once approved, you’ll get: 

• Up to £56,000 / €67,900 towards the cost of an academic expert 

• 50% funding towards the cost of employing a project manager, up to a set limit 

• Access to academic and industry expertise to support your project 

• Help to improve your innovation, design and technology capabilities 

This support can help you to: 

• Develop new products or services that meet market needs 

• Improve your business processes and efficiency 

• Solve specific technical or business challenges 

• Identify ways to reduce unnecessary costs 

• Create opportunities for long-term business growth
