Innovation is essential to keep your business competitive. Innovation vouchers help small businesses collaborate with higher education institutes and public research bodies to solve technical challenges and explore opportunities.

Who is it for?

You might be eligible if: 

  • You are a small to medium business
  • Your business is developing, expanding and located in a Gaeltacht region

What do you get?

  • €10,000 worth of time with an expert, third-level researcher to help you develop an idea or product, or solve a business or technical challenge
  • Co-funded vouchers are also available to cover project costs of up to €20,000, allowing a company to contribute 50% of the project costs.

What can it be used for?

Any kind of innovation such as:

  • New product/process/service/business model development
  • New service delivery and customer interface
  • Training in innovation management
  • You can also join with a cluster of up to ten other companies, also in receipt of Innovation Vouchers, to work on solving an issue together.
