Wage Subsidy Scheme

The Wage Subsidy Scheme gives employers financial support when you recruit and employ someone with a disability. It helps you build a more diverse workforce while covering part of your wage costs.

The role must be for at least 15 hours a week and the subsidy is available for up to 39 hours a week.

It’s a great way to help people with disabilities to join your team.

Who is it for?

Talk to us if you are:

A private sector employer who needs new staff members
Registered with the Revenue Commissioners and are tax compliant
Able to offer a contract of at least six months

What do I get?

Once approved, you’ll get:

Help to recruit and train talented employees with a disability
A wage subsidy of between €7.50 to €10 per hour depending on how many employees are on the scheme
Financial support for up to 39 hours of work each week
