Marketing Assistance Programme

Find financial support for a range of marketing activities

This programme supports Irish food, drink and horticulture producers to drive growth and enter new markets by providing grants for a range of marketing activities.

Who is it for?

Food or drink businesses that need help to cover the costs associated with marketing, researching, and entering new international markets.

You might be eligible if: 

  • You are a Bord Bia client
  • You have a turnover between €100,000 and €3.5 million
  • You are a potential Bord Bia client in the food or drinks sector

Eligibility is subject to terms and conditions.


What do you get?

Financial support for certain marketing activities.


What can it be used for?

  • Participation in trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Marketing consultancy, focus groups and published reports
  • Marketing training, courses and seminars
  • Design and origination of packaging, labels, POS materials and/or brochures
  • Website development
  • Quality consultancy, training and audit costs
  • Nutritional analysis
  • Market research visits and in-store tastings.



*This support is for Bord Bia client companies only. To become a Bord Bia client company and avail for these supports, please send a Client Request Form accessible here: Registration form and the Client Engagement team will individually assess the request

To become a Bord Bia client, companies must have a turnover over €100k and manufacture in Ireland. Access to specific supports and services can be limited depending on interest and availability. Some of the supports require a 50% contribution
